Moving was a bit too much for Niven. In his new house, he started sniffing around, then the movers started bringing things in.

He'd had it, and took refuge in a corner behind some boxes we'd already brought.

He stayed there for over an hour after the movers were done. Caroline had just about coaxed him out with some pounce treats, when the neighbors dog started to bark.

When we found Niven as a stray, he had a bite through his left rear paw. He hates dogs.

So, he found an even small corner to crawl into.

A hour or so later, I hear rustlings of his tags, and go upstairs to see him coming out of his hidey-hole.

He's still leery of the house, so I use some catnip to encourage him to come with me and explore.
